'That smile': See FLOTUS' adorable birthday message to President Obama

If only we all could get personalized birthday messages from FLOTUS without having to marry her and lead the free world and all that.

If only we could all get personalized birthday messages from Michelle Obama without having to, you know, marry her and lead the free world and all that.

Sigh.

"55 years young and that smile still gets me every single day," she wrote Thursday on her official Instagram account. "Happy birthday, Barack. I love you. -mo"

The words accompany a photo of FLOTUS caressing POTUS as he flashes an enormous grin. Pass the tissues, please.

Michelle Obama's birthday message wasn't the only one waiting for the president on his 55th birthday. Vice President (and BFF) Joe Biden had a fun tweet of his own prepared, showing off a friendship bracelet bearing the pair's names.

"A brother to me, a best friend forever," Biden wrote in his tweet.

This isn't the first time (not even this season!) the Obamas have pulled at our heartstrings with their adorable birthday antics. Just last month, President Obama serenaded first daughter Malia on her 18th birthday during the White House Independence Day party ... and because the coolness ante clearly wasn't high enough, he surrounded himself with singer Janelle Monae and rapper Kendrick Lamar.

... On second thought, being a part of this family sounds like it'd be a little too cool for this reporter. Happy birthday, POTUS!
