How to get significant cash back while shopping online

What’s better than saving money while shopping? Making money back as a reward for shopping! Sure, you may be used to getting 1 or 2 percent back from a particular credit card company, but how about 8 percent back on whatever you buy at the Gap, 5 percent at Sephora, or 4 percent at Bed, Bath and Beyond?

The trick is to shop through specialized shopping sites. Below are some suggestions of sites to try. Note that they're also available as apps

Ebates.com: Founded in 1989, Ebates.com works with 1700 retailers. Every three months (as long as you’ve earned over five bucks or more) you get a check, a deposit into your PayPal account, or a donation made to a charity of your choosing, or sent to a family member.

Shopathome.com: Similar to Ebates.com in that it offers rebates, this site also offers printable coupons on specific store brands. It touts a more frequent payout schedule, paying you monthly. But with Shopathome, you have to rack up a bill of $20 or more to qualify.

Goodshop.com: With this site, money you earn goes to a charity you pick. If your cause isn’t one of the 114,000 already listed on Goodshop, you can sign it up. Schools qualify too!
