Turkey Corn Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon corn or vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon onion
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 1/3 pound lean turkey
  • 1 pound red bell pepper
  • 1 1/2 cup corn kernels
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 3 can scallions
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 2 ounce red hot or tabasco, cayenne pepper sauce
  • 2 ounce Coarse salt and pepper
  • 2 ounce Tortilla chips and shredded cheese

Preparation

Baking Directions:

Heat a deep pot over medium high heat.

Add oil and onion and sauté 3 to 5 minutes.

Add garlic and cook 1 minute more.

Add turkey and brown 5 minutes.

Add bell pepper, corn and tomatoes.

Bring to a bubble; add scallions, spices, cayenne sauce, salt and pepper.

Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.

Serve with chips and cheese.
