Terrie Williams’ Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 cup elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 12 ounce cheese
  • 2 ounce eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Preparation

Baking Directions:

Cook macaroni in a 3-quart saucepan with water and salt over a high flame.

  Let boil for 20 minutes or until pasta is slightly soft.

  Remove from stove, drain water.

Put macaroni in a 2-quart casserole dish and add melted butter, 8 ounces of shredded cheese, eggs, and milk.

  Mix lightly.

Sprinkle the remaining cheese over top of macaroni mixture, then sprinkle paprika on top.

  Bake in a preheated 375ºF oven for 30 minutes.

  Serve hot.
