Ingredients

  • 6 cup assorted fruit (such as mango, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, nectarine, apple and star fruit), sliced or cut into chunks
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced peeled fresh ginger
  • 1 cup to 1 1/2 cups fresh basil or mint leaves
  • 4 ounce (1/2 cup) orange liqueur, such as cointreau
  • 1 ounce bottle (750 ml) dry white wine, such as sauvignon blanc or pinot grigio
  • 3 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Preparation

Baking Directions:

In a large bowl or pitcher, combine fruit, ginger, basil or mint, and orange liqueur and muddle gently with a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon to bruise basil or mint and release fruit juices.

Then add the wine and lemon juice.

Stir to combine.

Refrigerate 1 hour (or up to 1 day).

Serve over ice.
