Here's an incredibly easy tweak to make whipped cream healthier: Just leave out the sugar! You won't miss the sweetness when you dollop creamy whipped cream onto your favorite desserts or fresh fruit. If you find you really do miss the sugar, try adding just a tablespoon of sugar per batch, which is less than 1/8 a teaspoon per serving. Plus, unlike store-bought whipped topping, this whipped cream has no preservatives. 

Ingredients

    • 1 cup heavy cream

Preparation

Put cream into a chilled bowl. Beat by hand with a large whisk or with electric beaters until the cream holds medium peaks.
