Strawberry-Yuzu Basil Boozer

Ingredients

  • 1 pint strawberries
  • 1 pint each vanilla bean, split lengthwise and scraped
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 4 teaspoon yuzu juice
  • 1/4 cup yuzu wine
  • 1 tablespoon honey (medium amber)
  • 1/4 cup basil, roughly copped
  • 2 cup crushed ice

Preparation

Baking Directions:

In a small bowl, combine strawberries, vanilla, and corn syrup.

Allow to macerate for 1 hour at room temperature.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.

To serve, place macerated strawberries (remove vanilla bean), juice, wine, honey, basil, and ice in blender.

Blend for 1 minute until all ingredients are smooth.

Serving Directions:

Serve in chilled glasses.
