Smoked Salmon Gourmet Pops

Ingredients

For smoked salmon mousse
  • 4 ounce cream cheese
  • 3 ounce mascarpone cheese
  • 4 ounce smoked salmon
  • 4 ounce salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon capers
  • 1 teaspoon red onion

Preparation

Baking Directions:

In food processor, pulse all ingredients until very smooth.

Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Using a pastry bag, pipe approximately 1 tablespoon of cream cheese mousse out and roll into balls.

  After circumference has been determined, roll onto a plate of chopped salmon and chives.

  Chill for 30 minutes.

Before serving, insert a lollipop stick, rosemary branch or herb sticks.

Can be sprinkled with herbs, poppy seeds or tiny toasted breadcrumbs.
