This slow-cooker hot cider couldn't be easier: Just combine fruit, spices and apple cider in a Crock-Pot and let it all bubble for a couple of hours.
- 1 gallon apple cider, preferably fresh
- 1 orange, sliced
- 2 clementines, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1/4 cup honey
- One 2-inch piece fresh ginger
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 4 whole star anise
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
Combine everything in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for at least 2 hours, until the flavors meld. Serve hot.
