Shrimp BLT in a Blanket

Ingredients

  • shrimp
  • bacan
  • 1 tomato
  • 12 basil leaves
  • 12 salt and pepper
  • 6 slice white bread
  • 1 slice beaten egg

Preparation

Baking Directions:

Slightly flatten the bread with a rolling pin or bottle.

Cut bread into 2 pieces.

Skewer each shrimp through the tail end.

Place shrimp on one piece of bread layer with some of the chopped tomato, bacon and basil.

Season with salt and pepper.

Roll all ingredients in the bread, as if making a wrap.

Seal with egg wash and repeat all 12. Place on a cookie sheet and bake 350 degrees for 15 minutes, remembering to turn at 8 minutes.
