Savannah crab cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 pound crabmeat
  • 1/2 cup panko crumbs
  • 3 cup green onions chopped
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup egg
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup peanut oil (for pan frying)

Preparation

Baking Directions:

Mix all ingredients together except the peanut oil.

Shape the mix into patties (cover with panko crumbs if the mix is not sticking together).

Pan-fry in peanut oil over medium heat until browned, for 4 to 5 minutes.

Flip and repeat until golden brown.
