Ingredients

  • 2 gallon cabernet sauvignon or other big red wine
  • 1 cup brandy
  • 1/2 cup Cointreau
  • 2 quart orange juice (not from concentrate)
  • 2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 20 cup ice cubes
  • 2 quart chilled club soda
  • 3 quart oranges
  • 3 quart lemons
  • 3 quart limes
  • 3 sprig mint, basil or rosemary

Preparation

Baking Directions:

Thoroughly chill all ingredients.

Pour the wine, brandy and Cointreau into a large punch bowl.

Stir orange and lemon juice with the sugar syrup.

Then add to bowl and stir to blend.

Add ice cubes and soda and garnish with fruit slices.

Serving Directions:

Serve in 4-ounce punch glasses or wine glasses with a sprig of the herbs.
