Ingredients

  • 3 cup oats (not quick oats)
  • 1/4 cup flax seeds
  • 1 cup nuts of choice, 1 cup each of dried berry (cranberries or cherries) and raisins
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 tablespoon to 3/4 cup canola oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon box of muselix cereal
  • 2 tablespoon cookie sheets

Preparation

Baking Directions:

In small sauce pan, heat together 4 tablespoons of honey & a 1/2 to 3/4 cup of canola oil (or vegetable oil).

Take off heat once they heat/mix together.

Combine 1 box of Mueslix cereal (has wheat and corn flakes, raisins, etc) and then mix up with fingers or spatula.

Pour the honey and oil mixture over dry ingredients, coat all ingredients thoroughly (add more oil if it seems dry).

Distribute evenly over 2 cookie sheets Bake at 275-degrees for an 1 hour or 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Then remove and make sure to stir around every now and then so everything gets heated.

Let cool completely so it becomes crispy and then enjoy!
