Cachaça is basically rum's older cousin, and it's the main ingredient in Brazil's famous caipirinha cocktail. Here, Ilson Goncalves serves it up with fresh passion fruit juice for a tart and sweet cocktail that'll give any party tropical flair.
- Juice of 2 passion fruit
- 2 ounces cachaça (Brazilian rum)
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- Mint leaves and/or star fruit for garnish
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain. Pour into tall glass and garnish with mint and star fruit.
