Ingredients
- 2 cup medium diced spanish onions
- 1 cup medium diced leeks
- 1 cup scallion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
Preparation
Baking Directions:
In a 12- to 14-inch sauté pan, sauté the onions, leeks and scallions in the olive oil over medium heat, until softened and translucent, about 7 minutes.
Season with salt, pepper and chili flakes, mix well and set aside.
Meanwhile, grill or broil each slice of bread until lightly toasted, about 2 minutes.
Spoon the onion and leek mixture onto each of the grilled bread slices, sprinkle with chili flakes and serve immediately.
