Meatball Wrap

Ingredients

  • 2 slice white bread
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup finely chopped onions
  • 3 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoon eggs
  • 4 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
  • 5 1/2 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Marinara sauce
  • 2 slice white bread
  • 1/2 cup whole milk

  • 1 cup finely chopped onions
  • 3 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoon eggs
  • 4 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
  • 5 1/2 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon (16-ounce can) plum tomatoes, diced
  • 4 tablespoon fresh basil leaves, cut in half

Preparation

Serving Directions:

1.

In a bowl, soak white bread in the milk.

In a medium bowl, mix the ground beef, bread and milk, onions, parsley, eggs, cheese, and garlic.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

If the mixture is dry, add ½ cup of cold water and mix well.

Form the mixture into about 12 meatballs.

Place the meatballs and the olive oil in a large skillet and fry over medium to high heat until brown, about 10 to 15 minutes, turning them regularly.

Dry the meatballs on paper towels.

For The Marinara Sauce:1. Heat olive oil in medium size saucepan over medium heat.

Add onions and garlic and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add tomatoes and basil, simmer until thickened, about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add the meatballs to the tomato sauce and simmer for 15 minutes then add the spaghetti and toss.

To Assemble Wrap:1. Cut 2 meatballs in quarters, place on wrap.

Add 3 tablespoons of marinara sauce over the meatballs.

Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

4.

Wrap and enjoy.
