Ingredients

  • 6 plantains
  • 6 butter

Preparation

Baking Directions:

Slit the skin of the plantains and peel gently.

Slice on a bias in 1/4 in thick slices.

Salt and pepper lightly.

Melt some butter in skillet and slowly cook until golden brown.

Turn over with a spatula and sprinkle with nutmeg and thyme and cook slowly until caramelized on both sides.
