Fruit Kabobs with Red and Blue Yogurt

Ingredients

Fruit Kabobs
  • 1 pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into triangles
  • 1 medium watermelon
  • 1 medium cantaloupe or green melon
  • 4 to 6-inch wooden/bamboo skewers
Honeyed Vanilla Yogurt
  • 1 pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into triangles
  • 1 medium watermelon
  • 1 medium cantaloupe or green melon
  • 4 to 6-inch wooden/bamboo skewers
  • 2 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon good honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Preparation

Baking Directions:

For the Fruit KabobsUsing a medium-sized melon baller, ball the watermelon and cantaloupe.

  Skewer a piece of each fruit onto the skewers.

For the Honeyed Vanilla YogurtCombine the yogurt, honey, and vanilla bean seeds.

Separate the yogurt into two bowls and color one bowl with red food coloring, the other with blue food coloring.

Put colored yogurt into two squeeze bottles.

Squirt red yogurt into serving vessel, swirl with blue yogurt.
