Ingredients
- 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 1/2 cup pomi strained tomatoes, or whole tomatoes canned without added salt (such as san marzano), partially pureed, with their juices
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

This sauce is not cooked except on the pizza itself, as the desired flavor is fresh, not stewed.
