Cranberry and Apple Crumble

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup chilled butter
  • 6 cup braeburn apple
  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 33/100 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Preparation

Baking Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup; level with a knife.

Combine flour, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, brown sugar and butter in a food processor; pulse 10 times or until mixture resembles coarse meal.

Combine apple and cranberries in a large bowl.

Combine juice and remaining ingredients; pour over apple mixture.

Toss well.

Spoon apple mixture into a 2-quart baking dish.

Sprinkle with flour mixture.

Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.

Serve warm.
