CHICKEN FRIED STRAWBERRIES

Ingredients

  • driscoll strawberries
  • 4 cup all purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoon eggs
  • 4 ounce chocolate ganache
  • 4 cup peanut oil
For cream:
  • driscoll strawberries
  • 4 cup all purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoon eggs
  • 4 ounce chocolate ganache
  • 4 cup peanut oil
  • 1/2 quart heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

Baking Directions:

Mix flour and 2 tablespoons cinnamon in a bowl.

Mix sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon in a separate bowl.

Roll strawberries, one at a time, in cinnamon flour, then eggs, then back in flour.

Heat oil in a sauce pan to 350 degrees.

Drop breaded strawberries carefully into oil, and fry for 1 ½ minutes each, or until golden.

For cream:Mix all ingredients together, and whip until soft peaks.

Serve with whipped cream, drizzle with chocolate ganache, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
