Black pepper and chive aioli

Ingredients

  • 3/4 prepared mayonnaise
  • 1 clove fresh garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon piece anchovies (puréed to a paste)
  • 1/2 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon grana padano cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon freshly sliced chives

Preparation

Baking Directions:

Mince the fresh garlic with a micro plane, if available.

Working with a chilled mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients.

Refrigerate until ready to use.
