Ingredients
- 3 pound sweet potatoes
- 1/4 pound sweet butter
- 1 cup pineapples
- 1/4 cup ginger
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Preparation
Baking Directions:
1.Mix pineapples, ginger and sugar in a bowl, set aside.
2.Set aside small cubes of butter in a bowl.
Butter should be cold, not melted.
3.In gratin dish, make one layer of potato.
Add layer of pineapple mixture and add a few squares of butter.
Repeat three times.
(Expect four or so layers from this recipe.)
4.Bake at 350 degrees, for 35 to 40 minutes, until golden brown.
