Dolly Parton would be proud!
TODAY's own Willie Geist was awarded the coveted "Lip Sync Battle" champion belt, after offering a spirited rendition of the country legend's 1980 hit "9 to 5" on Thursday night's episode of the popular Spike series.
Geist also paid tribute to "Lip Sync Battle" host LL Cool J with a performance of his 1987 slow jam "I Need Love."
The evening's other contender was Bravo's Andy Cohen, whose repertoire included Loverboy's "Working for the Weekend" and the Cher song "I Found Someone."
Other recent "Lip Sync Battle" contestants include Justin Bieber and football star Deion Sanders.
Willie isn't the first TODAY anchor to reign supreme on the show. In April, Hoda Hotb performed Sir Mix-A-Lot's 1992 booty anthem "Baby Got Back," defeating Michael Strahan, who took on Bell Biv DeVoe's 1990 hit "Poison."
