"Look, brah, the Kris Kringle we all grew up with is old and lame," he told host Jimmy Fallon. "Dude looks like someone's weird grandpa. Kids today are demanding a newer, hipper, more badass Santa Claus. So ... you're welcome!"

And no one would mistake Claus 2.0 for the original.

This Santa wears a Bluetooth earpiece, carries a fur-trimmed camo bag and uses a t-shirt cannon to shoot treats into the crowd.

Well, toward the crowd. It's still a work in progress.

And forget all about the old sliding-down-the-chimney routine. Ferrell's Claus is starting a new tradition.

While he kicks back in Cabo, presents will fly out to anyone on the "noice" list, as long as they live in "The Drone Zone."
