Updated 3:45 p.m. ET: Paris Jackson was hospitalized early Wednesday morning. She uploaded this video to her YouTube channel on May 31.

Not every teenager gets to wear makeup, and even fewer know how to put it on properly. But Paris Jackson is no ordinary teenager -- as the 15-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson, it's no surprise that she might be a little ahead of her time.

And yet, in a video she recently posted titled "Paris Jackson doing her makeup," the teen comes across as adorably normal, even if she does have the smokey eye look down pat. In the nearly 20 minute video -- apparently filmed in her somewhat cluttered bedroom one Tuesday evening -- Jackson chats into the camera, applies her makeup, offers a little tutorial and even sings a bit.

"Those who know me are pretty familiar with my eye makeup," she starts off. "And for those of you who have not seen me without makeup, hello! This is my face! It's kind of a shocker, but yes, this is what I look like."

She's sweetly self-effacing and comfortable in front of the camera chatting away, taking text messages, putting on her Maybelline New York Dream Liquid Mousse Airbrush Foundation Finish Nude Light 4 (she reads it from the bottle). She admits to having acne and says her bottom teeth need straightening.

She also repeatedly notes that she's somehow odd: "God, I'm so weird," she says once; later, "I'm so not normal." But what's perhaps "oddest" about her is that she is like a regular teen after all. And as she chats we learn she's a fan of films -- "Hick" and "Tangled" -- and music -- she thinks Journey is "cheesy" but "Don't Stop Believing" still plays in the background. She laughs about taking "selfies" and laments getting makeup right: "Am I the only person who has major issues with making your eyebrows even?"

She also reveals she's got a fantasy of marrying a cowboy and riding off into the sunset.

Sure, it's the ramblings of a teenager, but she's a winning, lovely personality on camera. And as she wraps up, taking her hair down and joking, she looks like manga character Goku. "If this helped, I doubt it did, yeah, Jackson says. "So this is me when I'm done with makeup. Yeah, so. If it didn't help I apologize not really. If it did, awesome. Teamwork!"
