Watch the first trailer for 'American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson'

The trailer for FX's highly anticipated series about O.J. Simpson is finally here, taking us all back in time to the stunning trial that captivated our nation two decades ago.

The network released the minute-long clip today to promote "American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson," which premieres in February.

"You saw the chase. You watched the trial. But you don't know the half of it," the video teases. "The trial wasn't the whole story."

The show's all-star cast includes John Travolta, David Schwimmer, Sarah Paulson, Courtney B. Vance, Selma Blair and Connie Britton. Cuba Gooding Jr. plays Simpson, who was famously acquitted of murdering his ex-wife and another man in 1995.

"You want to make this a black thing. Well I'm not black. I'm O.J.," Gooding's Simpson says in the trailer.

"The People v. O.J. Simpson" is the first installment of "American Crime Story," a spinoff series from "American Horror Story." Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, famous for "Glee" and "Scream Queens," co-produced the show.
