'Walking Dead': Exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from the premiere
"The Walking Dead" may be about the human struggle to survive after zombies infest the planet, but though the subject of the show is grim, it doesn't mean the set has to be.
In an exclusive photo that AMC is sharing with The Clicker, star Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie Green, has a good time as she practices slicing a man's noggin with a hefty blade at what appears to be the prison. And if you look closely, her weapon looks to be a rather rubbery piece of steel, despite the fellow's grimace.
Looking on in amusement are, from left, Victor Scalise of visual effects company Stargate Studios, co-executive producer Denise Huth and executive producer Gale Anne Hurd. And that gentleman in the back who's not paying attention? Yep, IronE Singleton, who plays T-Dog.
A second exclusive photo reveals the show's crew hard at work as Hershel (Scott Wilson), Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and T-Dog check out a stash of weapons inside their new home, the prison.
Season three premieres Sunday, Oct. 14 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
