Vin Diesel found a creative way to show how his daughter Pauline will always be looked over by her namesake, Paul Walker.

Fans did a double take when Vin Diesel posted a picture of himself and his daughter to Instagram on Friday. In the photo, Diesel is holding the one-year-old, who is named after Diesel's late "Fast & Furious" costar, high in the air while Walker himself is Photoshopped into the sky.

The caption, which reads "Always," makes the message clear: Walker's spirit lives on in those whose lives he touched.

Diesel has been open about the impact that Walker, who died in a car crash in 2013, had on him. He told TODAY's Natalie Morales last year that naming his daughter Pauline "felt like ... a way to keep his memory a part of my family and a part of my world.

"He was in the room," Diesel said of Pauline's birth. "There's no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord. I just ... knew he was there."

How moving to know that Walker is still on his mind as Diesel and castmates set about filming "Furious 8." Two weeks ago, Diesel shared another photo in tribute to Walker, this time referencing the upcoming film.

Bromance, as it turns out, never dies.
