If you thought watching original "Teen Mom" star Amber Portwood repeatedly hit and punch ex-fiance Gary Shirley was bad, wait until you watch "Teen Mom 2's" Jenelle Evans as she appears to brutally beat a woman named Britany Truett.
It's not clear what prompted the fight, but the alleged attack was caught on tape. Evans can clearly be seen making the first move, later sitting on Britney and repeatedly punching the young woman in the face as her friends cheer her on. (Word to Evans: Good luck getting your son Jace back after this!)
Celebrity gossip site TMZ got its hands on the video, but beware, it's violent and contains a lot of nasty language.
Officials in North Carolina told TMZ that an investigation into the incident has started. The Brunswick County District Attorney's Office told the website that it is working closely with the sheriff's department.
This isn't the first time the young mom has been in trouble with the law. Evans' mom, Barbara, accused her of stealing her credit card (something viewers witnessed in a recent episode) for a trip to New Jersey with boyfriend Kieffer Delp, who has also appeared on "Teen Mom 2."
Updated at 2:52 p.m. PT: Good news for Evans. Truett told TMZ that she won't be pressing charges against her former pal Evans. The D.A.'s office told the website earlier in the day that unless Truett takes action, they can't do anything.
