Today, Ryan Gosling is a 31-year-old movie star, with an extra helping of Internet fame thanks to the numerous "Hey Girl" Tumblr sites that caption photos of him.
But back in 1991, he was just a 10-year-old kid with M.C. Hammer pants and a musical dream. Video of a young Gosling belting out "When a Man Loves a Woman" in a talent show has spread across the Internet, and even TODAY picked it up.
"He's got moves like Justin Bieber," TODAY host Natalie Morales said after watching the video.
Gosling, of course, was a member of the "Mickey Mouse Club" from 1993 to 1995. The sweet little blonde crooner then grew up and now takes on more mature roles, such as the murderous and dark character he plays in "Drive." Who knows? Maybe in an upcoming movie, he'll let us see more of his singing talents again.
