Picture-perfect good looks? Check. Chiseled frame? Check. A role in the upcoming Oliver Stone movie "Savages"? Check.

"90210" star Trevor Donovan has all this and more, so it's no wonder he doesn't have trouble getting dates. But in an interview that Life & Style is sharing exclusively with TODAY.com, the young actor reveals that it's his role as Teddy Montgomery on the CW drama that's really attracting the ladies.

Donovan told the magazine -- which goes on sale Friday -- that ever since his character, Teddy, came out as gay on the show, his dating life has gotten even better.

"It's been good for me," the actor told Life & Style. "Girls want to challenge it. They kind of assume I'm (gay in real life) and try to change me back. Of course, I let them!"

Donovan first landed the role in 2008 and was upgraded to a series regular in 2010. It was during the third season of "90210" that Teddy's sexual orientation was revealed on the teen drama.

"I couldn't be happier," the actor told Life & Style about being a role model for teens who may be confused about their sexuality.

Unfortunately for fans of "90210," Donovan's Teddy will no longer be a regular, but instead will appear in about five episodes during season four, according to TVLine. The drama returns Sept. 13 at 8 p.m.
