While Tiger Woods looks for a new swing coach, questions arise concerning veteran coach Hank Haney’s decision to part ways with the golfer.

On Monday night, Haney, who coached Woods for the last six years, announced, “I believe at this time that it is in both of our best interests for me to step aside as Tiger's coach.”

According to one insider, Haney’s unspoken reason behind the career move had everything to do with Woods’ troubles off the green.

“Hank is a very proper person,” the source explained to Radar Online. “He is a good and moral man and very private. He’s been horrified by the revelations that have come out regarding Tiger and his behavior and quite frankly says he has no regard for a person that acts like that.”

Although the source insisted the 54-year-old was once “absolutely thrilled” to work for the four-time Masters champ, that all changed sometime after multiple mistress allegations hit the headlines.

“Hank doesn’t want to be mixed up in that kind of, you know, whatever’s going on,” the source said, later adding, “Ultimately, the years that they were together just ran out. And Hank gave it a ton of thought and just decided I’m done. And when Hank is done, he’s done, there’s no persuading otherwise.”

Trump defends Miss USA lingerie shoot Some may find the recently released, soft-focus photos of lingerie-clad Miss USA contestants a bit controversial, but Miss Universe Organization honcho Donald Trump doesn’t see what all the hubbub’s about.

“The ‘Miss USA Pageant’ and the ‘Miss Universe Pageant’ just got renewed for three years by NBC, the ratings have been terrific,” Trump told “The Insider” before connecting that bit of info to the shoot. “We are in a different age. (The photos) are a little bit sexy, but I'll tell you what — everybody's watching so I have no problems with it.”

Yes, according The Donald, the appropriateness of the photos directly relates to the ratings the televised pageant will pull. As long as viewers tune in, Trump gives the sexy snapshots the thumbs-up.

“If you look at Miss America, it's now off network television, and we're doing better than ever,” the business magnate reiterated, “so I really have no problem with it.”

Dish on the fly It appears as though actor Jim Carrey has moved on since his split from longtime love Jenny McCarthy, at least according to a report published in the New York Post. An onlooker told the paper Carrey was spotted at New York City’s Pacha in the wee hours of Sunday morning, with several female companions. “He arrived at 3 a.m. with an entourage of at least 10 women,” the source revealed. “Once in the VIP area, he turned his attention to a pretty blonde who looked a lot like Jenny and a hot brunette. Things were getting so hot and heavy, someone shouted, 'Get a room.' Jim just burst out laughing.” … He may have an angry reputation, but Russell Crowe insists, despite all the stories to back it up, it’s just a bad rap. “When you read it in black and white it sounds like I was being ridiculously aggressive, but one of the main misunderstandings is that I’ve been sold as an angry person, and that’s just not true,” the star of “Robin Hood” told The Telegraph. “I like to put a lot of effort into what I do and that comes with a certain amount of energy, especially when you’re weary and it requires you to dig deep inside yourself.” It’s not that Crowe denies he has his mood swings, he just doesn’t believe they automatically equal true anger. “I certainly have a temper that can flare up,” he said, “but having a temper is a completely different thing from being an angry person.”
