If you think there's an age limit on doing the "Whip/Nae Nae," these two ladies in their 80s would beg to differ.

Mary Thompson, 80, and Eleanor Fredricksen, 83, recently put their skills on display at the Somerby of Peachtree City assisted living facility in Georgia, and people can't get enough of it.

The video of the two women dancing to the Silento hit has been watched more than 16 million times. The ladies are good friends and live on the same floor at the facility. The spontaneous moment came when Somerby lifestyle director Jessica Holt started playing the song on her phone, and the women got in the groove as Holt filmed it.

"They like to dance and entertain,'' Pete Toal, Somerby's community liaison, told TODAY.com. "Miss Eleanor isn't quite as aware of how big it's gotten. Mary is trying to stay as humble as she can, but she loves it because she just wanted to be able to make somebody smile."

Toal, who runs Somerby of Peachtree City's Facebook page, put the video up on a whim figuring it would get some attention from their relatives before watching it take off.

"All the comments are 'That'll be us in 50 years,' so it's been really cool,'' he said. "We just want the focus to remain on two best friends being vibrant and young and happy overall."
