'Teen Mom' Leah files for divorce
It’s official. Just days after a report revealed that “Teen Mom 2” star Leah Messer and her husband of six months, Corey Simms, had gone their separate ways, comes the news that the young couple are headed to divorce court.
Radar Online reports that the 18-year-old mother of twins filed for divorce in Kanawha County, W.V. on Friday.
The couple’s October wedding was featured on the “Teen Mom 2” first season finale. Shortly after that, during the follow-up reunion special, Messner spoke openly about her decision to marry Simms.
"Marriage to me is a big commitment,” she said. “If I took that vow, it is going to be forever.”
“Teen Mom 2” viewers can expect to see the end of “forever” on the next season of the docu-series, as TMZ spotted MTV cameras capturing Messer's emotional reaction to the split on Saturday.
