Get ready to throw all the way back to the '80s on this particular Thursday with a beloved character from the big and small screens: Pee-wee Herman.
Actually, it was Paul Reubens, the man behind the childlike character, who stopped by TODAY to share some "Pee-wee's Playhouse"-related good news (and good times).
The whole five-season run of the kids' show has been remastered and released on DVD and Blu-ray.
"I'm proud of that show," he said. "We took it very seriously that we were affecting young minds. I'm excited that a whole new generation of kids may find it now."
But there was something else to get excited about when Reubens visited TODAY — he brought along the Pee-wee dance from "Pee-wee's Big Adventure" fame!
He was especially impressed with Al Roker's take on his iconic moves.
"He's making it his own!" Reubens cheered.
Want to see more from Reubens? You can watch those remastered episodes of "Playhouse," out now, or you can tune in to see a very different side of the star on "The Blacklist." Catch Reubens as baddie Mr. Vargas Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
