Nominees for the 57th Annual Grammy Awards were announced Friday morning, but the big reveal is taking a while to roll out.

Rather than announcing them all at once, the Grammy folks are unveiling categories throughout the day on TV and Twitter, giving early thrills to artists including Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Sam Smith.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé became the most-nominated female artist ever, with a total of 47 nods to her name now. She had been tied with Dolly Parton; Barbra Streisand is in third place.
