"Survivor" fans might have wondered: Where did Jeff Probst go?

Between Nov. 30 and Wednesday afternoon, his Twitter feed was dead silent. And then last night, he even told fans he couldn't be around to live-tweet "Survivor's" latest airing, writing: "I have a personal commitment that I can't break. Back next week with double the buffs...."

Well, now we know: Probst has been out there getting married and (presumably) enjoying the first few days of wedded bliss!

According to People, the 50-year-old Probst wed Lisa Ann Russell on Dec. 5, in what was reported to be "an intimate ceremony at a private Los Angeles residence."

Russell, 40, had previously been married to actor Mark-Paul Gosselaar and shares custody of two children with her ex. Probst and Russell had been rumored to be dating as of 2010, and her divorce was finalized in May, according to TMZ.

Probst was married to Shelley Wright from 1996-2001 and dated "Survivor: Vanuatu" fifth-place finisher Julie Berry from 2004-08.

"Survivor: South Pacific" has its finale on CBS on Dec. 18. Probst's one-hour syndicated self-titled talk show is currently set to debut in fall 2012.
