"Saturday Night Live" is super excited for the dream pairing of this week's host, Jimmy Fallon, and musical guest Justin Timberlake. So excited, in fact, that the show has released three-plus minutes of promo material.

The "Suit & Tie" crooner is the center of attention in "SNL's" teasers — but he's not in any of them. Instead, Fallon and Kenan Thompson make the best of it.

In the first clip, when Thompson points out that JT is the musical guest, Fallon delivers the bad news: "No, he couldn't make it. His flight was canceled!" The men are then soundly pelted by a barrage of snowballs until the late-night host manages to turn around and admit, "Just kidding! Justin will be here!"

In another, eager for some Timberlake appearance, Thompson — all bundled up with his knit cap pulled down and scarf wrapped around his face — introduces himself as the superstar ... and botches "SexyBack's" title repeatedly.

Kate McKinnon also shows up to do a couple of duets — about Timberlake, of course — with Fallon.

The Christmas episode this season is highly anticipated for its pairing. Fallon and Timberlake have collaborated on various projects recently that have gone viral, including their "History of Rap" series and annoying hashtag conversations.

This will be Fallon's second time hosting, and Timberlake's fifth as a musical guest.

"Saturday Night Live" airs at 11:30 p.m. Saturdays on NBC.
