While millions of Americans begrudgingly trudged through the snow on Tuesday, a panda cub reveled in her outdoor playtime at the Smithsonian's National Zoo, turning it into a mini panda-lanche.

Bao Bao, a 16-month-old panda cub, celebrated the winter weather by curling up in a ball and tumbling down the snowy hill of her sanctuary in Washington, D.C. The Smithsonian posted a video of her shenanigans and confirmed it was her first time playing in the snow.

"She spent her morning tumbling down the hill in her yard, climbing and sliding down trees and pouncing on her mom Mei Xiang!" read a Tuesday afternoon post on the zoo's Facebook page, which continued to explain how she may have experienced something similar in her natural habitat. "Giant pandas live in mountainous bamboo forests in China. [During] the winter, it can be very cold and snowy," the post said.

Additional photos from Bao Bao's big adventure show her climbing trees and frolicking with mama bear in a winter wonderland.

Born Aug. 23, 2013, this happy little panda was given the name Bao Bao at 100 days old, which aptly means "precious treasure" in Chinese, according to the Smithsonian's website.
