Sheen drama gets even ‘more twisted’

As if domestic assault charges and the sudden need for rehab weren’t bad enough for Charlie Sheen’s rapidly declining reputation, the rumor mill’s latest low blow could knock the actor down for the count.

On Tuesday, Radar Online revealed a woman would soon step forward to share the alleged details of her sexual trysts with both the “Two and a Half Men” star and his wife, Brooke Mueller. By Wednesday, insiders confirmed the upcoming bombshell and claimed it’s even bigger than first thought.

“It’s more twisted than anyone knows or has suspected,” a source said. “It’s crazy.”

How so? According to the report, there’s more than one woman — and even a few men — who shared a bed with the Sheen and Mueller. Add to that one insider’s claim that “some of the women they slept with together also did drugs with them,” and the scope of the scandal become clearer.

Which begs the question: Why hasn’t Denise Richards chimed in yet?

Cowell ‘appalled’ by his on-air behavior “American Idol” viewers who can’t help cringing when Simon Cowell delivers his signature jabs to off-key contestants can rest assured they’re not alone. Even the acid-tongued judge finds his on-air insults hard to swallow.

The semifinalists for season nine have been selected. Here's a look at each of the final 24 contestants.

“There’s many, many times where I've watched the show back, and I'm absolutely appalled,” Cowell confessed in an episode of “Life Stories” (excerpted in The Mirror). “You do the show, you're not aware of what's happening in the room outside. You know, somebody just said, ‘My dog Lassie died yesterday,’ I'm in a bad mood and, you know, awful, and you see it in that context, it’s very, very difficult to watch.”

And yet, Cowell, whose bad guy image extends to U.K. talent competitions “X Factor” and “Britain’s Got Talent,” hasn’t really curbed his tell-it-like-it-is-and-then-some approach.

“You become part of a mob,” the pro panelist explained. “And when you watch the show back you realize that you've gone too far.”

‘Bachelor’ Jake is taking it slow
Now that “The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love” is finally (mercifully) over, fans of the franchise can embark on the traditional will-they-or-won’t-they-wed waiting game. That could be quite a wait, if flyboy Jake Pavelka has his way.

According to the New York Post, the would-be bridegroom insists a wedding is in the cards for Vienna Girardi and himself, but he’s in no hurry seal the deal.

“We’re going to take our time with (the wedding),” Pavelka stated. “I just want to date my fiancée for a little while. We’re engaged, but we haven’t seen our first movie yet.”

While patient Pavelka’s busy playing the unexpected role of rational guy, his betrothed is already planning for their trip down the aisle. Girardi’s BFF, Miss Florida Rachael Todd, spoke to Radar Online and confirmed her pal already asked her to join the wedding party.

“I’m just so excited for her. She called me right after the engagement on the show to ask me if I’d be her maid of honor,” Todd revealed.

Dish on the fly It looks like Lindsay Lohan is still on her TMI tour through the British press. After confessing the ins and outs of her drug- and boozed-filled past to The Sun last week, LiLo gave OK magazine U.K. the scoop on two of her three rehab stints, or as she calls them, vacations. “Well, the second two times I went into rehab, to be honest with you, I had to go because it was a court thing,” Lohan admitted. “It was an obligation. I had to do it to stay out of getting any jail time. And I took responsibility for that. And it was like a vacation.” Woo hoo, inpatient treatment! … Music chart it-girl Ke$ha added her charms to Britney Spears’ track, “Lace and Leather,” but the “Tik Tok” singer felt no need to hold back when asked what she thought of the Spears lip-synched live shows. “I don't think that’s fair at all for people who are going to see the show,” Ke$ha insisted. “I think if you are going to be a singer, you should sing. If you are going to be a dancer, you should dance. If you are going to do a combination of the two, you should make it very clear when you are singing and very clear when you are dancing. I would never do that to my fans. … It's treating people as if they are too stupid to realize you are not actually singing.”
