Bill Henrickson and his bevy of brides won’t get a free ride in the final season of HBO’s “Big Love.” After four seasons worth of relationship problems, business woes and an increasingly public private life, the family will finally confront the fallout.

In an interview with Playboy magazine, show star Chloe Sevigny hinted about what’s to come in “Big Love’s” series-ending season.

"The writers are concentrating a lot more this year on the politics within the family,” Sevigny explained. “For viewers who keep asking why Bill and the family keep getting away with everything they do, this season the characters start having to face consequences.”

That’s a direction that might just satisfy fans who grew tired of the fourth season’s ridiculous, go-nowhere plotlines — fans like Sevigny herself, who publicly referred to season four as “awful.

The actress had to face her own consequences for that unexpected bit of refreshing Hollywood honesty.

"I got into a lot of trouble,” Sevigny revealed. “It was a huge thing on the Internet. Yeah, I got a little talking-to. I don't want to bite the hand that feeds me. I loved being on the show; I love my character and my co-stars. The whole experience has been great. I just felt it was a weaker season than others. I shouldn't have said it. I don't want to offend anybody.”

For those who can't wait until Jan. 16 to get a glimpse of the new and last season of "Big Love," here's the latest teaser:
