When he's not playing the crown prince of Asgard and wielding a mighty hammer, actor Chris Hemsworth can simply waltz his way through a battle — at least a ballroom battle.
That's what Hemsworth did back in 2006, when he lasted seven weeks on the Australian version of "Dancing With the Stars." And while most of his stateside fans missed out on watching his paso doble and tango too, "Tonight Show" host Jay Leno made sure they got a glimpse of the action Monday night.
The audience clapped eagerly before the clip rolled, but Hemsworth assured them, "Nothing to cheer about, that dancing.”
But really, given the usual talent assortment on any version and any season of "Dancing With the Stars," Hemsworth's sexy samba wasn't so bad.
For fans who'd like see more pre-"Thor" Hemsworth, the "Tonight Show" segment also featured some dramatic fainting from the star from back in his soap opera days.
