Jack Donaghy’s dream was to pre-produce an all-star, ratings-grabbing benefit show for “every possible disaster” on last night’s “30 Rock,” and with the help of living legend Robert De Niro, he pulled it off. Sort of.
The “Little Fockers” star filmed pleas for floods, fires and every tragic mash-up in between.
“Two days ago when people thought of a mudslide they just thought of getting drunk at an Applebee's,” De Niro deadpanned. “But now we know it as the thing that destroyed Denver.”
The only show moment that came close to topping the veteran actor's spot was the one showcasing the inevitable disaster the catch-all benefit covered.
