Witherspoon, 38, was famously caught on camera in April 2013 berating an officer who was attempting to administer a field sobriety test to the actress's husband, Jim Toth, who later plead guilty to DUI.

"I'm a U.S. citizen ... I'm allowed to stand on American ground and ask any question I want to ask," Witherspoon said at the time. The officer told Witherspoon to return to her vehicle, and in the viral soundbite heard 'round the world, Witherspoon said, "Do you know my name? You're about to find out who I am. You are going to be on national news."

She later admitted she had one too many glasses of wine and that she was sorry and embarrassed about the entire ordeal.

In an Instagram photo she posted Tuesday, Officer Witherspoon posed with another cast member on set, who was all ears.

"Don't Mess With Texas" is due in Theaters next May.
