Oh, that we could all be like Reba McEntire at age 60: super-talented, super-cheerful, with a beautiful baby granddaughter (that'd be Kelly Clarkson's 9-month-old River Rose) and a No. 1 hit with "Going Out Like That"!

No wonder she's "loving every minute of it."

She said Tuesday on TODAY that she credits a higher power for her ongoing musical career (her new album, "Love Somebody," was released Tuesday).

"I'm very blessed," she said. "I thank the Lord every morning for letting me walk and talk and do what I get to do. And I know he’s given me this talent for a reason so I use it … I don’t want to disappoint him, in other words."

To McEntire, little River Rose is the opposite of disappointing (Clarkson is married to McEntire's stepson Brandon Blackstock).

"She's a cutie pie!" said the doting grandma. "She just smiles every time you see her ... kind of a double blink."
