Day of the week: Boozeday Tuesday

Spoken by: KLG

Context: There was some sad news for people with heavy doors and no Internet this week, when the great Encyclopedia Britannica announced its plans to cease printing new editions. Sales have been bad for years, and EB just can't compete with free online resources like Wikipedia.

But, as Kathie Lee or any college professor will tell you, Wikipedia isn't always reliable. Especially since anybody can edit it. That's helpful for people who want to speculate about Freddie Prinze Jr's. favorite ice cream flavor, but not great for the integrity of the information.

Kathie Lee lamented the loss of Britannica and warned viewers not to believe everything they read about her on the free encyclopedia. Hopefully that doesn't mean the fun fact about creaming the relatives of Dog the Bounty Hunter on "Celebrity Family Feud" is a lie.

Julieanne Smolinski is a TODAY.com contributor. She is not relevant enough to have a Wikipedia page.
