Brace yourselves: "Project Runway All Stars" isn't just going to omit host Heidi Klum, who has shepherded the past nine seasons of the fashion reality show.
As it turns out, mentor Tim Gunn will also not be on hand for the spinoff series, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Instead, model and actress Angela Lindvall will take on the Klum role, with judges Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman. Marie Claire editor-in-chief Joanna Coles is stepping in for Gunn.
The article does not address what this means for Mizrahi's "The Fashion Show," a "Runway"-alike that premiered on Bravo after the original decamped to the Lifetime Network in 2009, though it would seem a conflict of interest is imminent.
"All Stars" will feature 13 contestants from previous seasons: Mondo Guerra, Austin Scarlett, Anthony Williams, Sweet P, Kenley Collins, Rami Kashou, Kara Janx, Elisa Jimenez, Jerell Scott, Gordana Gehlhausen, Mila Hermanovski, April Johnston and Michael Costello.
The show's prize stash is even bigger than on "Runway," including $100,000 in cash, as well as $100,000 in technology and office space, and a year-long editorship at Marie Claire.
The series is expected to start the first of 12 one-hour-long episodes later this year. Here's hoping "All Stars" can "make it work" ... even without Gunn on hand!
