Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen put their Super Bowl game faces on
There's no question that Patrick Stewart loves to play ball. After all, his wedding announcement to the world was a tweeted photo of himself and his new bride nearly buried a bin full of colorful balls. But something seems amiss in his latest (hilarious) Twitter picture with Ian McKellen, shared Friday, just in time for Sunday's Super Bowl.
OK, close enough. The pair do have on the right uniforms for the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks, and even the numbers are solid: Stewart's "3" represents Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson, while McKellen's (somewhat obscured) "18" is a clear nod to the Bronco's quarterback, Peyton Manning.
Of course, there's a little matter of the actual ball they're holding, which is probably more suited for football in their native UK than for the American gridiron version. But who cares? They've got more game on the web than anyone else.
