One Direction has given their heartbroken fans a bittersweet last gasp of the boys in action with a music video released online Tuesday.
The band, which announced it was going on a hiatus at the end of 2015, packed the video for its single “History” with footage of their rise to fame over the years.

Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson — and (gasp!) Zayn Malik, who left the band in early 2015 — are shown in concert, roughhousing behind the scenes, and singing in their first appearance before Simon Cowell.
